In March 2017, Cabeólica promoted an international conference on the company's performance during its first five years and the impacts it had in the country and in the ECOWAS region. Held at the Pestana Trópico hotel, in the city of Praia, it featured prestigious national and international speakers who promoted an open debate on renewable energies and the Public-Private Partnership model adopted by Cabeólica. At the end of the conference, and during The Closing Cocktail, guests were able to visit an exhibition that summarized Cabeólica's five years of activity and enjoy the Closing Cocktail.
