The ECOWAS Center for Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) invited Cabeólica to be part of the Business Advisory Council (BAC) of ECREEE, an advisory body composed of companies and financial institutions from the ECOWAS region, whose objective is to advise ECREEE in creating an enabling environment for business in the renewables sector.

The BAC was officially presented on the 16th of September, within the framework of the ECOWAS Renewable Energy Policy and Investment Forum, which was held in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, from the 14th to the 18th of September 2015 and where the Chief Financial Officer of Cabeolica, Bruno Lopes, participated in the panel “How are Governments triggering RE Grid Connected Private Investment”, in order to share the Cabeolica experience.
