We Are Energy<\/h2><\/div>\n\t

The educational program N\u00f3s Somos Energia \/ EOLO is a project dedicated to teaching about clean energy sources and energy efficiency.<\/p>\n

Aimed at school children between 9 and 10 years old, in the 4th grade, it follows the curriculum plan of the Ministry of Education and Sports of Cape Verde, being a different and innovative way to teach these subjects. Starting in 2015, about 4,811 students from 234 classes in 146 schools in Santiago, S\u00e3o Nicolau, Boa Vista, S\u00e3o Vicente, Fogo and Santo Ant\u00e3o have already participated in the program.<\/p>\n

EOLO visits schools in several islands in the country to present energy sources and to teach how to save energy, in a didactic and fun perspective, bringing animation and joy to the classrooms.<\/p>\n

With an active participation throughout the program - from a participatory intervention when classes are held to involvement with a drawing contest - all children are invited to participate directly in each activity. This action is also extended to all parents, with the development of specific information for the joint promotion of behavior change.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
